Full Description

The government intends to solicit only the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer Product Line, has a requirement for the overhaul of Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) hubs originally manufactured by Propulsion Systems Inc. CPP Hubs are used onboard 378' High Endurance Cutters and 210' Medium Endurance Hubs. Preservation and packaging will be performed in accordance with controllable pitch propeller hub standard overhaul specification R-245-0155. All parts shall be new. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Receiving Room, U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer Product Line, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore MD 21226-5000. A sole source, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract consisting of a base year and four option years is anticipated. Therefore the Government intends to only solicit the Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM), Propulsion Systems Inc. It is the Government's belief that only the Propulsion Systems Incorporated, can complete the required overhaul, furnish the required parts and ensure the proper form, fit and function of all its components.
