The Region of Queens Municipality invites passionate individuals, businesses, and community groups to submit proposals for the Public Market Stall area in the heart of downtown Liverpool. The Public Market currently offers a series of covered, open-sided vending stalls on the waterfront off Henry Hensey Drive. Its prime location is adjacent to Privateer Park, a vibrant hub for numerous festivals and events, and seasonal Privateer Farmers and Artisans Market. Surrounded by dozens of established businesses and just steps from Main Street, the market benefits from high foot traffic and excellent visibility. The Public Market has eight available vending stalls: six are covered by a permanent roof, and two are adjacent, uncovered stalls. Each vending stall measures approximately 96.3 sq/ft (8.95 square meters). • Fees: $ 7 per day or $15 per week • Operation Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily Site Details: History: A long-established location with a proven track record as a successful produce stand. Amenities: Please note this is a covered space without power. Parking is not permitted under the stalls. There is public parking available nearby. Equipment: Applicants must provide their own display furnishings and equipment necessary for operations. Compliance: Successful applicants must adhere to the requirements outlined in Bylaw 10 (Operation of a Public Market). Proposals should include: Concept & Intended Use: Provide a brief overview of your proposed service, including a description of goods/offerings and average consumer pricing. Operating Plan: Proposed start and end dates, hours of operation, weekly schedule, number of stalls requested, and any other relevant considerations. Readiness: A summary of your ability to mobilize and begin operations for the current season. Proposals should demonstrate how the use of the applicant will enrich community offerings and foster a welcoming experience for the public.
