PUMP UNIT, CENTRIFUG

The contract seeks the procurement of one centrifugal pump unit with motor, identified by NSN 4320-01-305-9837, under a firm fixed price arrangement with a delivery requirement of 30 days after award. The pump must fully comply with the latest revision of Federal Specification MIL-P-16789 for centrifugal pumps, as well as all technical and quality requirements referenced by R or I numbers from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in any part of the hardware or supply unless explicitly exempted for functional uses such as batteries, fluorescent lamps in portable instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or specified chemical reagents, with mandatory secondary containment for any permitted mercury-containing items in accordance with NAVSEA 5100-003D.
