NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. AFLCMC/HNCK intends to award a sole source contract for the purchase of 3M 8411 6.5" Clear Polyester Tape with Deactivation Strip, IAW Drawing # G1-47-1611 Rev D, to T&W Converters Inc., 601 Sonora Ave, Glendale, CA 91201. This proposed acquisition will include the following: 98 rolls ea. 3M 8411, 6.5" x 144 yds. Clear Polyester Tape with 5.5" Deactivation strip-Color Blue, IAW Drawing G1-47-1611 Rev D. Required Delivery is 30 days after receipt of order. The Government intends to make an award by April 2015. T&W Converters, Inc. is the only known source that meets the Government's requirement of the required items due to their technical expertise, testing and qualifications. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution.
