THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.
The Government intends to solicit this requirement directly from suppliers IAW FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for a firm‑fixed‑price contract to purchase one (1) refuse truck for OM BG HE, Camp Zama, Japan. The anticipated award date is 14 August 2026 (subject to change).
Requirement:
One (1) rear‑hopper refuse truck for OM BG HE at Camp Zama, Japan. The contractor shall deliver the refuse truck directly to Camp Zama, Japan. Any damage incurred during delivery shall be repaired or replaced to restore the item to its original condition at no additional cost to the U.S. Government.
The contractor shall perform a test run and make necessary adjustments to ensure the truck is fully operational. The contractor shall also provide basic operational training, in Japanese, to U.S. Government Japanese employees at the time of delivery.
