Bucks County Community College (BCCC), 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 (BCCC) invites the submission of sealed bids to furnish bids for the purchase and installation of a Supplemental Air Conditioning system for Hicks Woodshop. All Bidding documents will be available at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net) on April 19, 2024. Sealed bids must be received electronically via PennBid on or before 10:00 a.m., Prevailing Time, on May 21, 2024. Bids received by any other means will not be considered. There will be a mandatory site visit on May 2, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Newtown Campus at the Hicks Art Building. Contractors who do not attend the mandatory onsite meeting will be disqualified from the bid. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a 10% surety bid bond in the amount and form and be subject to the conditions provided in the General Stipulations. PA Prevailing Wages must be used in your labor calculations to validate your bid. The Prevailing Wages report is available with the other bidding documents on PennBid. The bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and Chapter 49, Title 16, of the Pennsylvania Code and any other regulations promulgated hereunder. Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall be cognizant of all laws, ordinances, insurance, bonds, regulations, wage rates, and underwriter approval and shall include in his bid a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the specification and pertinent documents.
