Purchase Copiers and maintenance agreement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994) (Public Law 103-355) & FAR 37.4, Non-personal Health Care Services Contract (10 U.S.C. 2304 and 41 U.S.C.253). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal service, commercial item, contract in response to Request for Quote 16-108 The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1 effective August 2016. THE RFQ IS USSED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The associated North American Industry Classification System code is 453998 and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: The primary purpose of this is to purchase two (2) Toshiba e-Studio 757 copiers plus establish a full maintenance contract to provide technical support services and maintenance, all parts, labor and toner for the copiers to be located in the Great Plains Area Office, Office Services Department, Room 309 in the Federal Building in Aberdeen, SD.. See attached Statement of work. BASIS FOR AWARD: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract will be from "Date of Award" through August 31, 2017 for the base year plus four (4) option years. Option Year 1 is from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018 Option Year 2 is from September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019 Option Year 3 is from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020 Option Year 4 is from September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021 The quoted unit pricing must be an all-inclusive cost (to include but not be limited to transportation, food, lodging, per diem, federal, state and local taxes), plus all other costs pertinent to the performance of this contract.
