This presolicitation notice, issued under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul provisions, confirms the intent to proceed with a direct award and is not an invitation for competitive bids. The solicitation number is FA520926Q0055, with responses due by June 20, 2026, and an anticipated award date around August 19, 2026, subject to change. Although the agency office is listed with an address in APO, AP, all work must be performed on-site in Hiroshima, Japan, and contractors must be fully prepared to meet local regulatory and operational requirements. The project is part of a broader effort to ensure reliable field power support at a key U.S. military installation in the region, with no competitive bidding process anticipated under the current RFO framework.
