AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Embassy London is seeking quotations for the purchase of one new large panel van under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Offerors may submit proposals for either a factory-built vehicle or an in-country dealer stock vehicle, provided it fully complies with the mandatory technical specifications and is eligible for immediate registration in the United Kingdom. All quotations must include a completed SF-18 form, firm-fixed-price pricing, manufacturer’s literature, detailed vehicle specifications, proof of the vehicle’s new and unused status, delivery timelines, past performance references, and for non-UK offerors, evidence of a minimum three-year business relationship with a UK-based supplier. The vehicle must be delivered to U.S. Embassy London at 33 Nine Elms Lane, London, SW11 7US, with all shipping, customs, duties, and taxes included in the quoted price. Submission is strictly electronic to Procurement_Box7@state.gov with the subject line Solicitation No. 19UK5626P0780/V, and must be received no later than 17:00 British Summer Time on August 5, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered. Technical acceptability is assessed through a binary pass/fail evaluation based on adherence to all mandatory requirements listed in the Supplier Submission Checklist; any missing or incomplete item renders a quotation non-acceptable. Among technically compliant offers, award will go to the lowest-priced quotation. The procurement falls under NAICS code 3361 and is administered by the Department of State through the Embassy’s GSO/Procurement office, with no small business set-aside in effect. No military packaging, preservation, or marking standards apply; compliance is governed by commercial practices and UK regulatory requirements. All representations and certifications, including Unique Entity ID and size status, must be completed and attached by the offeror, though none are pre-filled in the solicitation. Payment and invoicing will be processed through the Embassy’s procurement office, though formal remittance instructions are not specified.
