NASA plans to procure NSI's, NSI-3A's in potential quantities of 500/1000. In addition NASA plans to procure NASA Standard Detonators in the quantities of 200/500. Also a part of this contract will be staking of NSI's and NSI-3A's and the addition of weld washers to NSI's and NSI-3A's. The government plans to enter into a firm fixed price Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Quantity Contract with Chemring Energetic Devices in Downers Grove, IL over a 10 year period of performance.
This will be an IDIQ Contract for the NSI, NSI-3A, and NSD fabrication; NSI Staking; and Weld washer installation.
