Full Description
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.201 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03826QK0000017 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of November 28, 2025, IAW the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO).
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business.
All items must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Traceability means a clear, complete, documented, and auditable paper trail which traces each step from the OEM to its current location. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a competitive basis as a result of this solicitation for the following items:
SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES

USCG Wire and Cable Requirements:
1. Manufacturer Company and Cage Code.
2. Manufacturer Lot Number of Wire Order.
3. Manufacturer Quality Assurance Testing Report including "Finished Wire Resistance Check". This check
must yield DC ohm value results and must be stated on the test report.
4. Certificate of Conformance to SAE Specs.
5. Bitter ends are heat treated/sealed and must be accessible.
6. Type of coating applied to the wire.
7. Number of strands and stand size applicable to wire ordered.
8. Maximum OHM value used in test requirements and results of the test IAW SAE Specifications.
9. Date of Manufacture shall be listed on every spool data label.
10. Material must be on spools of 500’ or more continuous length marked IAW SAW AS22759 and/or
NAVAIR 01-1A-505-1 and be manufactured within last 12 months.
11. Identify each separate roll of wire per contract line; e.g., 1 of 6, 2 of 6, etc.
The contractor shall furnish a Certificate of Conformance (COC) IAW FAR clause 52.246-15. The COC must be submitted in the format specified in the clause.
