The USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) plans to issue a sole source contract to Assured Information Systems Limited, based in the United Kingdom, for ongoing maintenance, support, and integration of its proprietary Pharmacovigilance software, PV-Works. This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, which allows for sole source acquisition when only one responsible source exists that can meet the agency’s requirements. The relevant NAICS code for this contract is 541519, covering Other Computer Related Services. The point of contact for this procurement is Bonnie K Simpson, the Contracting Specialist at APHIS.
