Supply and Delivery of Fleet Vehicles
Solicitation # RFP26-11
The City of Port Moody is soliciting proposals under RFP26-11 to establish one or more preferred dealers for the supply and delivery of Class 1 through Class 6 light-duty and medium-duty fleet vehicles. The scope of work focuses on 2027 vehicle offerings across five categories, including compact and full-size sedans, SUVs, cargo vans, and light-duty and medium-duty trucks, with flexibility for new models and fuel types from 2028 onward. Beyond vehicle procurement, the contract encompasses customized vehicle outfitting, the supply of replacement parts, and on-call warranty, non-warranty, and recall service repairs. While the City primarily intends to purchase vehicles, leasing options, including lease-only or lease-with-option-to-purchase arrangements, may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the designated Bidding System by November 26, 2026. Requirements for proponents include a 10 percent digital bid bond, a valid City of Port Moody business license, and evidence of being in good standing with WorkSafeBC. All vehicles must be delivered freight prepaid, FOB to the City of Port Moody Works Yard, and must meet specific minimum standards, including a full power package. The City will not pay deposits on vehicle orders, and payments will be issued following the receipt and inspection of the vehicles. Award decisions will be based on a standard single-stage evaluation of the highest-ranked proponents.

Full Description

Le Central needs One Set of Twin Yamaha 150 Motors for Wingfoot State Park. These engines will be replacements for a 2004 Boston Whaler 21’ foot Justice boats that is currently equipped with mechanical Honda twin 150hp outboard engines. We are requesting the replacement to be Yamaha F150 outboard engines that are counter rotating with appropriate pitched stainless props. We utilize Yamaha outboard motors because in the commercial applications that we use them, they have proven to be more reliable than competing brands. This engine has been on a contract for ODNR use however the model has changed and the F150 motor is not currently available as a contract option. The majority of our fleet has Yamaha outboard engines which helps with consistency in operation as well as diagnosing repairs. We have also found that most marine dealers in the locations of these boats are able to repair Yamaha engines.
