This is a FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION procurement. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. The USDA, Forest Service, Angeles National Forest intends to rehabilitate the Pyramid Lake Recreation Area. This construction project involves recreation improvements: parking lots, accessible recreational amenities, furnishing and installation of accessible picnic tables, trashcans, barbecues, accessible railing and handrails; constructing accessible concrete slabs and walkways; placement of asphalt surfaces and base; providing drawings and construction of staircases at various locations; demolition and pulverization of existing asphalt; installation of French drains and catch basins; grading, excavation, embankment of compacted native material at various locations, and installation of short-span aluminum truss bridge with concrete approaches. Job site is located next to Interstate 5, Smokey Bear Exit, Los Angeles County. The North American Industry Classification System, ("NAICS") code assigned to this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The magnitude of the requirement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. All contractors must register with the Central Contractor Registry ("CCR") at http://www.ccr.gov.
