Full Description

Imaging Radiology Services The VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) has a long-term requirement to provide Imaging Radiology Services to include, X-ray, interpretation of film, and reports for Veterans residing along the Eastern Shore of Maryland. In order to meet this requirement, the Government is seeking sources that may have interest, capacity, and technical capabilities to perform on such a contract. This effort is in support of one of the VAMHCS's missions, which is to ensure our Women Veterans experience equitable, high quality and comprehensive health care in a sensitive and safe environment. This unfilled requirement is currently causing an unacceptable /unique hardship for these patients and must be corrected immediately. The Government intends to address this requirement in two-steps; first, through an urgent and compelling sole source procurement with Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Maryland. The intent of this sole source selection is to execute an urgent short -term buy for a period not to exceed 6- months, and immediately follow with a full and open competitive long term procurement which will ensure that our patients continue to benefit from this augmented capability for the foreseeable future. Source for the long-term follow-on procurement are hereby sought to be offered solicitations for proposals on this important Department of Veteran Affairs initiative.
