J025--NEW CART MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Solicitation # 36C24627Q0057
Solicitation 36C24627Q0057 was issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, for a base year plus four option year service contract to provide preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair services for government-owned golf carts and utility vehicles at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. The intended scope of work included tire rotations, battery water level checks, lubrication of friction areas, and general repairs with a not-to-exceed value of 125,000 for parts and labor not covered in the regular maintenance cycle. This decision followed a review of clarification requests from vendors, which revealed that the Performance Work Statement required substantive revisions regarding the scope of services, equipment specifications, contractor responsibilities, and pricing requirements. Consequently, no award will be made under this solicitation to ensure that any future procurement is based on a clearly defined and consistent set of requirements. Interested vendors are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov for a potentially revised solicitation.
