The Ohio State University is soliciting professional service firms for inclusion on a pre-qualified List of Professionals for new construction and renovation projects commencing in calendar year 2027. This request for qualifications is designed to identify firms across various disciplines, including architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and geotechnical engineering, as well as environmental science and commissioning agents. Selection is a two-stage process: firms are first evaluated for the pre-qualified list based on their experience with Ohio universities, design quality, capacity, and proximity to OSU campuses or the Wexner Medical Center. Once a specific project need arises, the university will further rank shortlisted firms based on project-specific submittals, personnel availability, and proposed project approaches. Interested firms must submit a single, unmodified Statement of Qualifications using Form F110-330 as a PDF by November 18, 2026. The submission must include the firm's State of Ohio professional registration number and specify any EDGE or MBE certifications. Awarded projects will require participation in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity and Equity program and adherence to the Ohio Facilities Construction Manual and Ohio Revised Code Section 153.68. Additionally, firms providing services at the Wexner Medical Center must comply with specific health and security policies, including background checks and vaccination requirements, with all associated costs borne by the firm. Inclusion on the pre-qualified list does not guarantee the award of a contract.
