The Los Angeles Unified School District is issuing Request for Information R-27018 to identify providers capable of delivering pre-engineered or prefabricated permanent modular buildings for TK-12 classrooms and associated support spaces. The primary objective is to gather market data to establish minimum performance standards and guide specifications for future design-build procurements. The District is specifically seeking systems that are approved by or pursuing approval from the Division of the State Architect (DSA) via Pre-Checked drawings to ensure installations can be completed without significant modification. Interested parties must submit their responses via Ariba Discovery by December 28, 2026. Required documentation includes a narrative response limited to twenty pages, a performance response matrix, planning cost and schedule information, and evidence of DSA approval. Additionally, respondents must provide technical drawings, performance certifications, and photographs of completed California K-12 projects. The District is focusing on sustainability features such as all-electric design and CHPS alignment, as well as compliance with prevailing wage requirements and safety standards for school facilities. As this is an RFI, it is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or a commitment to contract.

Solicitation # 2358982691
The Los Angeles Unified School District is seeking an independent, vendor-neutral consulting firm to provide advisory services for the development and selection of a modern Cloud/SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning solution. The engagement focuses on evaluating current operations, defining functional and technical requirements, and facilitating a competitive procurement process to streamline financial, human capital, position control, and procurement workflows. The project is structured around four primary deliverables: current-state discovery, gap analysis and future-state requirements, the creation of procurement-ready technical content, and final selection support. The contract is scheduled to commence in April 2027 for a three-year term, with two optional extension years, not to exceed five years in total. To qualify, proposers must pass a Phase I assessment requiring at least five years of ERP advisory experience with large-scale public-sector clients serving over 50,000 students or 10,000 employees, including three successful consultations within the last five years covering at least three core enterprise modules. Technical evaluations will emphasize the firm's ability to assess cybersecurity risks using NIST and CIS frameworks and ensure compliance with SOC 1/2, FERPA, and Cal-Secure standards. The award will be based on the highest total score, with the district reserving the right to make value-based assessments over low-cost options. Submissions must be made via Ariba Discovery by December 1, 2026, and must include a technical proposal, a price proposal in both PDF and Excel formats, and various certification forms, including a Small Business Enterprise utilization report to meet a 25 percent participation goal.
