This Special Notice is being issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services (OJS), District V, 2021 4th Ave North, Billings, Montana 59105, that the Agency intends to award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Bighorn County Detention Center in Basin, Wyoming in accordance with FAR 5.203. OJS, has a need for established County Facilities to provide temporary detention services to include housing, medical care and associated services within its detention facility, for Adult offender(s) who have been arrested, awaiting transport, awaiting adjudication, serving sentences after conviction, awaiting release from custody as a result of having been arrested or convicted of criminal violations occurring within Indian Country jurisdiction. The rate charged is a daily rate that has been established by the County. The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be awarding a Contract for a Base Year with Four Option Years effective March 1, 2020 through February 29, 2024 to Bighorn County. This special notice is not a solicitation for firms to submit proposals.
