This Special Notice is being issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services (OJS), District II, 5924 NW Second Street, Suite 650, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73127, that the agency intends to award sole source firm-fixed price contracts pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to various Counties throughout Oklahoma in accordance with FAR 5.203. OJS, has a need for established County Facilities to provide temporary detention services to include housing and associated services within its detention facility, for adult arrestee(s)/inmates(s) who have been arrested, awaiting transport, awaiting adjudication, serving sentences after conviction, awaiting release from custody as a result of having been arrested or convicted of criminal violations occurring within Indian Country jurisdiction. The rate charged is a daily rate that has been established by each County. The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be awarding a Purchase Order for a base year with four options effective October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018 to each County. This notice affords all potential offerors the opportunity to respond to these proposed contract actions by September 8, 2017. At this time, contracts will be issued to the following County Detention Facilities; Kay County, Grady County, Kingfisher County, Custer County, Ottawa County.
