Université du Québec à Montréal ci-après nommée le Propriétaire, ayant son siège au 1430, rue Saint-Denis, H2X 3J8, Montréal, Québec, demande des soumissions afin de mieux répondre aux besoins du programme de médias interactifs de l’École des médias et en prévision de la hausse de cohorte prévue. L'UQAM souhaite en agrandir et moderniser les espaces. Au J-1er, les locaux J-1340 et J-1345 seront combinés afin d’y aménager un laboratoire informatique pouvant accueillir 40 personnes. Au J-3e, les locaux J-3840, J-3841 et J-3842 seront combinés afin d’y aménager une salle de cours pouvant accueillir 40 personnes. Les salles de montages J-3840 et J-3841 seront quant à elles relocalisées dans les locaux J-3320 et J-3555. Les travaux en architecture comprennent, sans s’y limiter : la démolition, le ragréage et la construction de cloisons de blocs de béton et de cloisons de gypse, la démolition ainsi que la fourniture et l’installation de nouveaux ensembles de porte, cadre et quincaillerie, la démolition et le remplacement des finis de plancher, la démolition et le remplacement de systèmes de plafond suspendu ainsi que les travaux de finition intérieure. Les travaux en électromécanique comprennent, sans s’y limiter : le remplacement des appareils d’éclairage, la modification de la distribution de ventilation, des ajustements en protection incendie, le déplacement et la modification des contrôles, la modification (déplacement et ajouts) de prises électriques et réseau ainsi que le raccordement électrique du mobilier électrifié fourni par l’UQAM. L’entrepreneur doit prévoir que ce mobilier sera livré et installé par un tier pendant la période des travaux. Le Contrat comprend aussi la récupération de certains équipements existants et leur réinstallation. L’Entrepreneur doit considérer que les usagers et occupants du bâtiment poursuivront leurs activités durant les travaux. L’Entrepreneur devra agir de façon à minimiser les inconvénients aux usagers et personnel. De même, la cour extérieure, stationnement, accès, etc., continueront aussi d’être utilisés, durant toute la durée des travaux. L’Entrepreneur devra s’assurer que les usagers auront accès aux locaux et aux aménagements dans un climat sécuritaire, salubre et sans discontinuité. Ceci inclut tous les travaux d’aménagement, tous les travaux de démolition, protection, ragréage et autres nécessaires au parachèvement complet de l’Ouvrage et tous les travaux connexes tels : aménagement et nettoyage du site, ouvrage de protection temporaire, réparations et modifications des ouvrages d’aménagements intérieurs existants. Tous les travaux de jointement, de réparation, percement, requis pour les travaux des présentes sont inclus. L’Entrepreneur aura l’entière responsabilité du contrôle des accès aux lieux, du chantier. Dans les situations où l’Entrepreneur doit exécuter des travaux ailleurs dans le bâtiment ou dans les cas où il doit procéder à des coupures de services électromécaniques, il le fera en dehors des heures normales d’occupation par les usagers, d’après les autorisations du Propriétaire. Enfin, l’Entrepreneur aura l’entière responsabilité de la sécurité et de la protection temporaire au chantier.
