Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following services for rental space, Combined Shell Scheme Exhibit Structure and Meeting Room and Exhibit Accessories for the Army and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) at Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) in Amman, Jordan. CLIN 0001 Contractor shall provide Rental of Exhibit Space, Combined Shell Scheme Exhibit Structure and Meeting Room and Exhibit Accessories for the Army and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) at the Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) in Amman, Jordan on 7-10 May 12. Below is a cost breakdown for the Shell Scheme Space Package includes: 61.5 meters of space at $540.00 per square meter = $33,210.00 (with the Basic Shell Scheme Exhibit Structure, not including additional structure for exhibit store room & DSCA meeting room). The Association of the United States Army is the sole, designated source of supply for exhibit space and on-site exhibit support services for all US exhibitors participating in the Official US Pavilion during SOFEX. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 813410 and the Business Size Standard in the millions of dollars is 7.0. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 8:00 AM Eastern Time, May 3, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
