The National Park Service intends to award a sole source contract prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 6.3 (Other Than Full and Open Competition) FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(iii) and FAR 6.302-3(b)(3)(i)(a)-Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services to Dr. Robert H. Kadlec for the Expertise Technical Support and Services for numerous ecological restoration projects located within Everglades National Park. This proposed action for services, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The technical requirement for this contract is previous past performance and previous consultant expertise and prior expert knowledge of restoration issues of Everglades National Park. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all expressions of interest received within 15 calendar days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The work consists of technical support and consultation for numerous projects such as; the Everglades Construction Project mandated by the Everglades Forever Act and the Modified Settlement Agreement, Modified Water Deliveries Project, C-111 Project and the Comprehensive Ecological Restoration Project (CERP): Everglades National Park, Homestead, Florida. Everglades National Park is located 12 miles southwest of Homestead, Florida. All work will be performed and completed under a single contract.
