The contract involves a public tender issued by OMHM for the complete restoration of apartment 512, located on the 5th floor of the Habitations Albert I and II at 2355 rue Delisle, Montréal. This restoration is required following a fire that extensively damaged the unit, necessitating full reconstruction according to detailed plans and specifications, including adjoining partitions on the side of apartment 512 with the corridor and neighboring units. The building complex consists of six structures encompassing 213 units over 8 floors and serves a diverse population including families, couples, individuals, and seniors. The affected unit will remain unoccupied during the renovation period. Work is scheduled to commence immediately upon signing the engagement letter, although OMHM reserves the right to modify this start date without allowing the contractor to claim extra fees due to such changes. The entire reconstruction project must be completed within a maximum of 120 working days from the confirmed start date. The solicitation was posted in late March 2026, with a submission deadline set for early April 2026, and the contracting authority overseeing the project is Belahsen Touria from OMHM.
