This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under PRV218535274CX13. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to issue a fixed price purchase order to Landmark Communications dba The Virginia-Pilot Newspaper, 150 W. Brambleon Ave., Norfolk, VA 23510 for yearly subscription of the Virginia-Pilot for the USS Harry S Truman. Quantity required is: Underway 40 papers (Mon-Sat), 40 papers (Sun); Inport: 10 papers (Mon-Sat), 10 papers (Sun). Period of performance is 01 November 2005 through 31 October 2006, with provisions for four 1- year option periods. Delivery will be to Norfolk VA. Delivery will be FOB Destination.
