R--- Services in support of the Deep Submergence Systems Program Directorate of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

The Naval Sea Logistics Center has established an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract under Cost Plus Fixed Fee provisions to support the Deep Submergence Systems Program Directorate of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. This agreement provides for worldwide non-nuclear engineering, production, planning, and yard support, as well as Navy sponsored deep ocean search, research, escape, rescue, and recovery services for surface and underwater systems. The total estimated level of effort for the project is 344,100 man-hours, with individual task orders issued as either Term or Completion types. The period of performance begins March 8, 2010, consisting of a one-year base period followed by four one-year option periods. Work is authorized across multiple global locations, including Kittery, Maine; Hanover, Maryland; Chesapeake, Virginia; Bremerton, Washington; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Diego Garcia; and Guam. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense under NAICS code 541330.
