Full Description

The US Expeditionary Contract Command Europe, 409th CSB, Regional Contracting Office Stuttgart intends to award a sole source contract to Joseph Werner Mechenmoser/Building Management Services, Bergstrasse 8, 72393 Berlandingen, Germany, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). The requirement is for Technical Support Services (TSS) to the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Stuttgart Operations and Maintenance Division in Stuttgart, Germany. This contract will provide full spectrum utilities integrated lifestyle engineering to include development of technical criteria, study, and improvement of installation utility systems as well as economic analysis considering diverse service providers. The period of performance for the contract will be 01 September 2010 through 31 August 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within three (3) business days of the announcements posting date of August 11, 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Telephonic inquires will not be accepted. The approved Justification and Approval (J&A) document will be subsequently posted. All business sensitive information will be redacted from the approved J&A before it is posted.
