The District of Squamish is seeking proposals for a Feasibility Study and Options Analysis concerning the redevelopment of the Junction Park building, a 1,191 square-foot facility constructed in the 1980s located at 37950 Cleveland Avenue. This building currently serves as public park washrooms and administrative space for the Squamish Arts Council but is approaching the end of its functional lifespan. The study aims to assess viable redevelopment options, aligning with plans outlined in the District’s 2019 Real Estate and Facilities Master Plan which identified the building for replacement. Proponents are invited to submit their proposals by April 27, 2026, as outlined in the Request for Proposals titled "R26-28 Junction Park Building: Feasibility Study & Options Analysis." The contract falls under federal jurisdiction with the Government of Canada’s Corporate Services overseeing the process. The study's scope and deliverables are detailed in the RFP particulars, and interested parties may direct inquiries to the primary contracting authority via the provided contact email. This initiative represents a strategic effort to ensure that the Junction Park building meets future community and operational needs through a thorough evaluation and planning process.
