The contract encompasses the provision of unarmed security services across multiple Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations of the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, with a base performance period beginning August 1, 2026, and extending through July 31, 2031, inclusive of four option years. The scope requires qualified security personnel to staff designated VA outpatient facilities including Auburn Gresham, Chicago Heights, Adam Benjamin Jr., and PRRC CBOCs, ensuring a consistent security presence while adhering strictly to government-furnished Standard Operating Procedures. All guards must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess at least two years of public interaction experience, maintain a valid state security officer certification in Illinois or Indiana, pass biennial TB testing and psychological evaluations, and successfully complete urinalysis and fitness assessments. A named supervisor with three years of field experience and demonstrated de-escalation skills must be appointed, conduct weekly site inspections, and participate in monthly meetings with the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
