Solicitation N0042117Q0075 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This action will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for TDK-Lambda equipment, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). Any substitutions may render some or all of the equipment inoperable resulting in the procurement of additional equipment. All responding vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically athttp://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm. The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties MUST submit a brand name quote no later than 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time, 17-APRIL-2017. The Government will consider quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the Brand Name product cited, and will award to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Preference will be given to quotes from small businesses. Vendor MUST be an authorized distributor; Items must be covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty; Used or refurbished items will not be accepted. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Offerors must complete the attached certification in Section K of this solicitation, 52.209-11, Representation by Corporations Regarding Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction under any Federal Law.
