Radio Distribution System (RDS) RFI

The Air Operations Center Weapons System Program Management Office, through Kessel Run at Hanscom AFB, is seeking information via a Request for Information (RFI) for the continued sustainment of the Radio Distribution System (RDS) version 2.X baseline. The primary objective is to maintain the security and functionality of the RDS v2.3 across all Air Operations Center sites, including specific locations such as the 217th ARC in Battle Creek, MI, and the 152nd ARC in Syracuse, NY. The anticipated period of performance includes one base year and three option years, with requirements for 24/7 365 help desk support and the maintenance of two Test and Training Suites. Technical requirements mandate strict adherence to USAF and DoD cybersecurity standards, including compliance with DoDI 8500.1, AFI 17-130, and Public Law 111-383. The contractor must utilize the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for vulnerability scanning and ensure all deliverables undergo ACAS/Nessus and STIG scans. Additionally, the contractor must maintain a secure facility capable of handling Secret-level classified information in accordance with NISPOM and provide personnel with Security+ certifications. Logistics for equipment replacement involve overnight shipping via approved carriers for CONUS units and military air (MILAIR) for OCONUS units.
