Radio Towers & Cabinet Steel Base Framework Fabrication & Finishing

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-82AK-S-15-0023 is being issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees or less. The Rio Grande National Forest requires the fabrication of several structural steel assemblies to function as the base for mounting radio communications equipment and pre-manufactured towers at remote communication sites across the forest. This project includes structural steel fabrication, finishing and delivery of the finished assembly to Monte Vista, CO. Contract time is 30 calendar days from award date of the contract. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted to the address provided in the solicitation or by email message to Kim Decker at contact@example.gov no later than five (5) days preceding the ending date of responses to this solicitation. All Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.204-7 and must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section "L" and "M" of the solicitation to be considered responsive. Offerors that fail to meet these selection criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers. The solicitation is attached to this announcement.
