Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Randolph County Administrative Office, 725 McDowell Rd, Asheboro NC 27205 until Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 10:00 am local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project includes the following Work: 1. Replacement of existing Tube Pump Station with new submersible Pump Station. Existing Tube Pump Station shall be demolished. 2. Installation of approximately 575 LF of new 12 force main under the Deep River parallel to existing 8 force main. Approximately 425 LF of new force main shall be installed via HDD. Existing 8 force main shall be abandoned in place. The award of a contract under this solicitation may be paid with federal funding. Funding is contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of funding award. All prospective contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, FEMA requirements, and the terms and conditions of the funding award. In addition, vendors submitting qualifications shall be responsible for complying with state law and local ordinances.
