The McAlisterville Area Joint Authority will receive bids, for the PRODUCTION WELL RE-BID #2 (PW-04), for the Dunn Valley Water Campus.
The PRODUCTION WELL Contract (PW-04) includes the following items of work:
• Drilling of new production well at the Dunn Valley Water Campus • Installation of well casing and fittings, inclusive • Installation of well pump and appurtenances • Installation of pitless adapter
Sealed bids, one original and two copies must be submitted by mail, in-person or electronically via the PennBid portal at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com until 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on February 17, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 4:15 p.m., local prevailing time, on the same day at the Authority’s office at 546 Main Street, McAlisterville, PA 17049
All questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Questions requiring a response will be issued by Addenda posted within PennBid’s Public Notices and “Supporting Documentation”. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents via PennBid will be notified by email when an addendum has been posted.
Bid documents are available at no cost on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ or for viewing at the Authority’s Office which will be by appointment only by calling 717-463-3434. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of OWNER, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid.
In addition to the Equal Employment requirements of Executive Order 11246 regarding discrimination, the CONTRACTOR must establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 1% goal for minority participation in his/her aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000. Bids may be held by the OWNER for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
