RECOVER, RECYCLE AND RECHARGE - REFRIGERANT MACHINES FOR HFD

The County of Hawai'i, through the Hawaii Fire Department, is soliciting quotations under solicitation number 27-0073 for the procurement of automatic refrigerant recover, recycle, and recharge machines. The requirement consists of two specific systems: an R-1234YF machine conforming to SAE J2927 standards with a 30lbs external tank and 2.5lbs reservoir capacity, and an R-134A machine conforming to SAE J2788 standards with a 30lbs external tank capacity. Comparable models include Robin Air p/n AC1234-4 and 34788NI. Quotations must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement Portal by October 23, 2026. The contract will be awarded to a responsive and responsible offeror based on price, technical compliance, and vendor capability to ensure the best value for the County. All deliveries must be F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid and Allowed, with equipment delivered completely assembled to the designated location. Performance begins upon the issuance of a Notice to Proceed, except for awards under $50,000 where a purchase order suffices.
