CHILLER FOR SALE

Baton Rouge Community College is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of one unused, never installed 2024 Trane Ascend air-cooled chiller. The unit features a capacity of 413.71 tons (440 nominal tons), operates at 460 volt/60Hz/3 phase, and utilizes R-134A refrigerant and propylene glycol. The equipment is sold on an as is, where is basis, without warranty, and is located at 201 Community College Dr, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It meets UL, ASME, AHRI, and ASHRAE 90.1-2016 standards. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Sealed Bid – Chiller Sale and delivered to Bland Washington by 9:00 a.m. on October 30, 2026. The college will award the contract to the bid determined to be in its best interest. The successful bidder is responsible for all costs associated with loading, transportation, permits, insurance, and removal. Full payment is required within 10 calendar days of the award, and the equipment must be removed within 30 calendar days following payment.
