RECOVERY - This action is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Actof 2009. Task Order 510 will provide a high-fidelity aerodynamics model of a commercialtransport aircraft interfaced to a state-of-the-art Flight Management System that willallow human-in-the-loop simulation research and development of trajectory-basedoptimization concepts for future air traffic management operations. As a result of thistask, the Advanced Concepts Flight Simulator (ACFS) cockpit will include a fullyintegrated commercial aircraft model so that advanced human interface and displayconcepts can be tested in Next Generation Air Transportation Management System (NextGen)environments.
