RECOVERY - This solicitation was awarded under the authority of the Small Business Administration 8(a) Set-Aside program IAW FAR 19.8. This notice is for information purposes only. The project will provide for replacment of the existing China Creek crossing on Forest Service Road #46N03, at Mile Post 1.20 with a 23' 1" Span x 8' 7" Rise Bottomless Box Culvert, and replacement of the existing Fish Gulch crossing on Forest Service Road #47N77, Mile Post 0.20 with a 15' 11" Span x 7' 8" Rise Bottomless Box Culvert. The China Creek project is located about 10 miles east of Happy Camp and up the China Grade Road and the Fish Gulch project is located about 5 miles north of Highway #96 in the Horse Creek Drainage . The work will consist of complete creek channel diversion, and removal of existing road fill and channel debris, removal and disposal of existing corrugated metal pipes, traffic control, excavating and forming for reinforced concrete footings and stem wall plus installation of bottomless box culverts. The project will require clearing, excavating of fills and hauling and placing of fill and waste material. The project will also require haul and placement of crushed rock.
