Full Description

This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors with a NASA Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) contract. SSA is creating a new, data center to replace an existing computer center located in Baltimore, Maryland. To prepare for a faultless migration to the new data center, several labs must be built to test data replication as well as to mimic the latency that will be present in the proposed design of the local network. In order to prepare, SSA has a requirement for Cisco Nexus equipment to build the core infrastructure for testing in the data center. The Cisco Nexus equipment is the only brand of Data Center networking equipment that can use the proprietary protocols, code and configurations currently in use within SSA networking infrastructure. In order to simulate the production environment, SSA must obtain Cisco Nexus equipment.
