Full Description

Replace Lighting Various Buildings, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools and labor required to perform the work necessary to upgrade the lighting and lighting controls to maximize energy efficiency while maintaining, improving or adjusting lighting levels to ANSI IESNA standards in buildings 6260, 7228, 7309, 8088, 8565, 15510, 15658, 16521, 18762, and 33415 at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska project in accordance with the contract scope of work and specifications. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. Performance period is 270 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 12 AUG 09 with a closing date of 11 SEP 09. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package will be available only through the Electronic Posting System (EPS or FED BIZOPS). It has been determined that competition will be limited to qualified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Concerns(SBCs). An SBC must be included in the Small Business Administration's List of Qualified HUBZone Small Business Concerns (http://www.sba.gov/hubzone) to be considered a qualified HUBZone SBC.
