Full Description

RECOVERY - This project is funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The project is located on the Plumas National Forest in California Work shall consist of clearing, treatment of cut stumps and excavation required for construction of access road and loop campground road as shown on the drawings and specifications. In addition, work shall consist of construction for new one (1) accessible campground site and five (5) sites, construct harden access soil concrete access paths to accessible toilet and platform for hand pump well. Pump existing toilet vault, remove existing wooden structure and compact soil material in vault area. Excavate and backfill is required for the installation of one (1) prefabricated CXT vault toilet building, install six (6) fire rings and six (6) accessible concrete tables as shown on the drawings. Other incidental work item included: Aggregate base rock. The anticipated performance period for this work will be 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal and an electronic response will be due on or about 31 May 2010. Specific details for quotation submittal will be included in the solicitation package when posted to this site. This solicitation is being conducted as a Small Business Administration HUBZone Set-aside under FAR Part 19.13. Offers will only be accepted from HUBZone certified providers. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications will be released and posted to the https://www.fbo.gov website on or about 4 May 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed.
