RECOVERY - XUMU 09-1138B, REPAIR CHILLERS FOR ELECTRONICS LAB AT MISSILE MAINT FAC

TAS::57 3404::TAS ARRA XUMU 09-1138B, Replace Chillers for Electronics Lab at Missile Maint Fac, fully funded by Recovery Act. Work efforts for this project will replace the chillers for Electronics Lab at the Missile Maint facility. This project entails the demo/dispose of #1 chiller unit and accessories, demo/dispose of #2 chiller unit supply/return lines existing pumps and one CRAC Unit in side facility. The contractor will clean existing chiller coil and AHU coil, demo 3-pumps, valves and controls. Demo existing chill water supply and return piping to include all accessories from chiller #2 and up to AHU coil; mechanical make up water, vents, drains, expansion tank and valves. Install by-pass valve at existing chiller to remain to supply system with chill water until new system is done; new chill water pumps, make water systems, expansion tank, shot tank, isolation valves, auto air vents, drain downs, strainers, pressure gauges, thermometers, controls, run new copper type L chiller supply and return piping. Demo/dispose lock out tag out existing chiller #1; all accessories associated with chiller #1; and all gate valves and replace with ball valves. Demo mechanical room lighting; existing CRAC unit inside electrical lab building and secure. Contractor shall install new Trane Scroll 60 ton chiller with Coils/fins; new Data Aire crac unit inside electrical lab with new control valve and isolation valves connect to existing chiller supply and return lines; new copper type L piping chiller supply and return lines from new chiller up to existing coil with new valves, auto air vents, drain downs, controls, flow switch, gauges, thermometers, new make up water system, demo existing bollards; 20 new removable bollards around all three chillers and new electrical and include new lights in the mechanical room.
