Training courses will include both manual and mechanical treatment activities. These activities have been evaluated by the Sequoia National Monument Plan Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and associated Record of Decision, signed August 2012; NEPA Recreation Sites Hazard Tree Mitigation Project Categorical Exclusion, 36 CFR 220.6(d)(5) (File Code 1950/2350), and may be conducted on up to 6 acres within Coy Flat Campground.
