Wheeler Downtown Airport (MKC)/Lima Development Area. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is to select a qualified developer or development team with proven experience, financial resources, capability, and professional expertise to present a high quality, financially feasible development proposal for the site. It is anticipated that the MKC Master Plan will be approved in the third quarter of 2024. When the MKC Master Plan is approved an Addendum will be issued by the City formally establishing the deadline of the RFP to be submitted.
