Key technical requirements involve structural repairs, historic preservation, and the installation of new potable water and wastewater systems, including a sanitary sewer collection system and lift station. The project is estimated to exceed 10 million dollars and has a mandatory negotiable performance period of 170 calendar days, with work beginning within 10 days of award. Contractors must adhere to strict environmental and safety standards, including the management of lead-based paint and asbestos, compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, and mitigation of impacts on bald eagle nesting and roosting bats. Proposals must be submitted electronically by November 20, 2026, and must include a detailed technical approach and a phasing plan to minimize park operational disruptions. Required insurance includes general liability of 500,000 dollars and employer liability of 100,000 dollars.
