AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE3SE-27-Q-5009 is a firm fixed price request for the procurement of one mechanical food refrigerator, identified by NSN 4110-01-464-0277. The requirement is issued by the DLA Troop Support Subsistence FSE Supply Chain and may result in a simplified indefinite-delivery contract for a one-year period. Delivery is required within 30 days after the date of order, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract mandates strict adherence to shipboard refrigerant standards, permitting only R134A and R404A, while explicitly prohibiting the use of flammable R290A. Additionally, the contractor must ensure that mercury or mercury-containing compounds are not intentionally added to the hardware, except for specific functional components like batteries or sensors. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951 and RP001 for palletization, with all marking and labeling following MIL-STD-129. The DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements takes precedence over ASTM standards. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area Workflow system for electronic invoicing and payment. The solicitation incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, safeguarding of covered defense information, and restrictions on specialty metals. Quotations are due by October 23, 2026, and will be evaluated based on price and the ability to meet delivery and performance requirements.
