1. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Refuse and Recycling Services in support of the 99th Regional Support Command (RSC). Services shall be performed at the STATEN ISLAND USARC, 356 BATTERY ROAD, STATEN ISLAND, NY, 10305-5081. 2. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be a 12-month base period and 4, 12-month option periods from the date of contract award. 3. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items" and FAR 52.212-1, Addendum for additional information. This solicitation is being issued under FAR Part 13. 4. See Basis of Award for additional information and evaluation criteria. Failure to submit a capability/technical approach for performing these services with your pricing will render your proposal unacceptable. 5. All services shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 6. A Site Visit is available upon request. Prices shall not extend past the second decimal point for unit and extended amounts.
