The Regional Partnership Grant Program is designed to foster collaboration among child welfare agencies, substance abuse treatment providers, and juvenile or state courts to support family-centered treatment services for children at risk of or currently placed out-of-home due to caregiver substance abuse. The initiative aims to enhance evidence-based service delivery for families affected by substance use disorders through comprehensive, long-term treatment approaches, including medication-assisted treatment, in-home recovery services, early intervention, counseling, mental health supports, parenting skills training, and replication of proven models. The grant covers a single 60-month period divided into five annual budget cycles, encompassing a planning phase followed by an implementation phase. Participation requires forming regional partnerships with legislated collaborators, providing a cost-sharing match, and reporting on performance outcomes.
