RELAY, ELECTROMAGNETIC

This contract specifies the procurement of five electromagnetic relays, model numbers 1-1423163-9 and 7022L8IN, manufactured by Tyco Electronics/Agastat, with NSN 5945-01-155-5534. The items must comply with stringent technical and quality requirements referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and are subject to configuration change management protocols, including the submission of engineering change proposals or variance requests. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in or on the hardware except for limited functional uses in batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or specific chemical reagents as designated by NAVSEA; portable devices containing mercury must include shockproof construction and a secondary containment barrier per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331, or an equivalent zero-based plan, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively; all unspecifed attributes are treated as major and acceptance requires zero non-conformances unless otherwise stated. The relays must be marked per MIL-STD-129 with special code ZZ and must carry lead content identification labels in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 on each individual unit package. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E with specific preservation methods, and units are to be delivered FOB origin with no variance allowed in quantity. Inspection and acceptance occur at destination, with delivery required within 168 days of contract award, targeting a shipment date of January 19, 2027, and a required delivery date of March 9, 2027. All shipments must be addressed to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and transportation procedures are governed by DLAD procedural notes C19 and C20.
