AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of electromagnetic relays, specifically Tyco Electronics/Agastat models 2318244AFPC52 and 7022L10BN, under NSN 5945-01-046-9524, with a total quantity of eight units. The acquisition is conducted under a total small business set-aside, with delivery required within 79 days on an FOB origin basis, and inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract strictly prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds to the hardware, except for specific permitted applications such as functional mercury in batteries, fluorescent lamps, sensors, weapon systems, and chemical reagents specified by NAVSEA. Portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must be shockproof and include a secondary containment boundary as mandated by NAVSEA 5100-003D. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E, marking with MIL-STD-129 including the special code ZZ, and each unit must be labeled per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 to indicate lead content, with markings positioned as specified. The contract incorporates technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List, and adherence to revision timelines is determined by the acquisition type and solicitation amendment dates. Configuration changes require formal engineering change proposals or variance requests, and removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies is governed by specific protocols. The solicitation number is SPE7M1-26-U-4870, issued under a Federal agency with a small business set-aside, and was posted on August 4, 2026, with a response deadline of August 19, 2026.
